How to Care for Permanent Eyeliner

Not having to apply eyeliner everyday just to give your eyes that extra pop is a luxury worth splurging for.  But, there is a lot of confusion as to the best way to heal this type of permenant make-up service.  The following is how we recommend it:

1.)     Right after your service, you will be given an envelope containing four pads, two visors, and an anti-bacterial gel.  Starting one hour after your appointment, for four hours, you will use one pad to wipe your lash line very gently at the top of each hour.  Then, you will begin a semi-dry healing process.

2.)   You will want to avoid hot tubs, saunas, dry saunas and sweating for ten days after your appointment.  You will also want to avoid all eye make-up during this time to avoid a bacterial infection.  Washing your eyes once in the morning and once at night is okay as long as you pat dry very gently afterwards.

3.)   If you can handle healing with no creams, that’s best.  However, if the lashline gets too itchy, use the gel contained in your packet and apply a very fine amount to the lashline.  Only do this if the itching gets to be too much.

4.)   After ten days, you will get new skin.  At this time, it’s okay to resume exercise and normal activity but keep sunscreen over your treated area.

Your eyeliner may thin out just a bit after healing.  That is perfeftly normal and can be adjusted during your six week perfecting service.
